There seems to be a mystique about how to prune or deadhead perennials with many gardeners hesitating to take the shears to their garden plants. The major thing to pass along (beside the two basic kinds of pruning systems for perennials) is that you aren’t really going to kill a plant by making a mistake on pruning.
