Doug’s New Blogs

Posted on December 12 2010 by Kate Theodore

I thought I’d pass along these new projects to you. I’ve just started four new blogs that are plant or subject related and I’m really excited about the potential and response from readers.

A Perennial Blog. I’ve always been a big lover of perennial plants. Having owned a specialist nursery for almost 25 years growing over 1800 varieties/species every year for retail, these have been a central part of my gardening life.

A Bulb Blog. I wrote a book about bulbs back in the day and used to grow a significant number of species bulbs in my nursery/plant-collecting days. Now I’ve landed in one garden again, the collection is starting all over again.

A Beginner Gardening Blog. Information on this blog is aimed at beginner gardeners and is wide-ranging from vegetable gardening to plant identification to whatever we do on this site.

Doug Greens Garden blog – all plant and product reviews, garden pictures, video etc will now be run through this blog.

All how-to information and pictures about these four subject areas will now be funneled to those blogs away from this one. The intent is to deliver great gardening information and pictures to those who want to receive it via a blog format using these existing websites.

What fun!
