Kyle Bean is a Brighton, UK, based designer specializing in hand crafted models, set design and art direction. Since graduating in 2009, he has worked across a variety of platforms including installations, window displays, editorial and advertising.
These Pencil Shaving Portraits were created by the British artist and designer for the contributors page of the 2011 Handmade issue of Wallpaper* design magazine. Bean used the shavings from colored pencils, pictured in the photos, to render each of seven editors.
